Abstract

The selection of an endodontic sealer with optimal flowability remains a clinical challenge because inadequate flow may compromise the sealing of complex root canal anatomy and affect the success of endodontic treatment. Therefore, it is of interest to compare the flowability of GuttaFlow2, Adseal and Bio-C Sealer using the standardized ISO 6876:2001 test protocol with five samples in each group. Flowability was assessed by measuring compressed disc diameters using a digital vernier caliper and the data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post-hoc test. All sealers satisfied the ISO minimum flowability requirement of 20 mm, with GuttaFlow2 demonstrating significantly greater flowability than Bio-C Sealer, while Adseal showed intermediate values. Thus, data shows that GuttaFlow2 exhibited superior flow characteristics and may provide improved sealer penetration and adaptation in complex root canal systems.
