Abstract |
Yoga possesses well-proven therapeutic benefits, yet clinicians face profound barriers to sustaining regular practice. This cross sectional study was conducted by the Department of Periodontology, K M Shah Dental College and Hospital, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed at University, Vadodara. It evaluated multi-factorial impediments among 212 institutional healthcare professionals. Active yoga practitioners primarily cited acute time constraints, domestic responsibilities and intrinsic inertia as major barriers. Conversely, non-practitioners predominantly reported highly inconvenient scheduling logistics alongside cognitive misconceptions regarding yoga. Thus, mitigating these constraints through targeted digital interventions may optimise long-term clinician well-being metrics. |
