Abstract |
Scrofuloderma, a commonest form of cutaneous tuberculosis, less common worldwide and not uncommon in India, which is clinically important form of mycobacterial infection. It is commonly arising from underlying infected lymph node or any bony structure to overlying skin. It is commonly presented as chronic granulomatous inflammation with overlying skin ulcers and/ or abscess and often misinterpreted as cold abscess or other dermatological conditions. This case report gives an overview of the clinical journey of the patient who presented at tertiary care center, undergo various clinical, radiological and laboratory evaluations to overcome diagnosis. |
