Abstract |
Mothers of children with leukemia face significant emotional and physical challenges, impacting their psychological well-being and sleep quality. A quantitative descriptive study of 60 mothers revealed that social support positively influences psychological capital but may be associated with poor sleep quality. Age, family structure and education also play important roles in these variables. Understanding these relationships provides valuable insights for developing interventions to enhance maternal Psychological capital (Hope, Self Efficacy, Resilience and Optimism (HERO)) and caregiving capacity. Thus, data shows the complex interplay between social support, psychological strength and sleep in this vulnerable population. |
